Pinned toot

So... some kind of introduction: I'm Hoglorfen. I got stuck in the mire that is the Tolkien fandom in 2001 when the first movie aired (yes, I'm one of THOSE).

I'm writing a fanfic called "In The Glow Of The Mountain" which has been growing in my mind and on AO3 since 2015. It's about an Orc named Graznikh who meets an Elf and walks into Mordor, sort of. Some other stuff happens too, but you'll have to read the story if you want to know about those.

TFW your outwords the canon material.

Ok not all of it, but The Hobbit, and put together. The first four have over 570k words while Silmarillion clocks in at just over 130k.

The published part of ItGotM is just over 693k, the whole work hit 1,5 million words the other day and keeps growing.

Furthermore, I consider that this world deserves an Orc invasion.

This is the terror dog. He's my constant companion and will also show up here on occasion.
