Why would you call it Neapolitan when you could've called it "thrice cream"? 🤔

@alis fun fact: as a kid I always thought this was called Napoleon ice cream (Neapolitan was harder than Napoleon, and none of the adults around me knew what it meant anyway).

it was named after him because it was his favorite, because he was insatiable and wanted all the flavors (like he wanted all of Europe).

I liked it because I also wanted all the flavors (still do), and I loved having something in common with Napoleon.

🤷 kid lore, man.
