Since it's real night hours, here is the dirtiest gym I have seen in Pokemon Go, found in the outer reaches of Newfoundland.

I think my problem with "dark themes" is that everyone's version of "dark" is a a slightly different hue, meaning you end up with things like the charcoal-ish Ubuntu taskbar sitting on top of the navy-ish Discord UI and it's just... jarring. And way more noticeable IMO that in light-theme UIs where everyone is using slightly different shades of off-white.

(Also it probably went viral because it was written by a guy called like Russell Davies who everyone got confused for Russell T Davies so that was kinda lol.)

So way back like a decade ago, there was this viral post going around titled something like "How to be Interesting."

And the tl;dr of it was that, to be interesting, you had to be INTERESTED.

I still think about that post a lot.

It's been like a decade (or two if you count LiveJournal), but the "Next" and "Previous" buttons on the DW reading page still fuck me up by doing the opposite of what I expect.

Mo “Sir Percival” Dhillon is dead. Eli didn’t even know the guy’s full name until he heard it yesterday at the station, yet the guy died because of Eli. Maybe not directly, but . . .

“I could’ve saved him,” Eli tells his laptop.

I love how the word 'wonky' can mean both

'highly complex technical argument able to be grasped only by an ultra-sophisticated intellectual elite'

and

'a tottering structure built on a shaky foundation that one accidental brush with reality will bring crashing down'
