Police forced him to sign an apology for "making false comments" before he contracted the virus and died on February 7, 2020. #China

Dr. Mun, a doctor with 52 years of medical experience who works at the Busan North District Public Clinic in #Korea, volunteered at a drive-through testing station where he collects test samples. He hopes the virus will be defeated before his retirement this August.

Dr. #RobertoStella, a physician and GP who was also the head of the medical association of Varese in #Italy, contracted coronavirus and died of respiratory failure on March 10. Varese is in the #Lombardy region where the medical system is overwhelmed by a spike in the number of patients in need of help.

She and her team have been working around the clock since late December 2019 to treat and contain the disease.

Dr. #PengYinhua, who was treating COVID-19 patients at the First People's Hospital of Jiangxia District in #Wuhan, #China, contracted the virus himself and died on February 20, 2020 at the age of 29. He is survived by his pregnant wife.

Dr. Francessca Reali at the hospital in #Lodi east of #Milan in #Italy became ill with relatively mild symptoms and was quarantined after contracting coronavirus, she thinks before she and her colleagues knew about the coronavirus and acquired extra protection. Officials say 10% of medical workers in the #Lombardy region have been infected.
