I'm back at work and *almost* caught up. It's Fasnacht (carnival) in my town, which is a Big Deal, but I don't mind missing it because the weather is dreadful! Cold, snow-rain and strong wind - my desk is so cozy in comparison...

How I spent my entire afternoon, the last one of my month off: Instead of watching Guardian, writing or doing something else fun, I went through the fanvid tag on my recs blog and fixed all links wherever possible. Sometimes I wonder at myself.

I found an unsorted bookmarks export from my Delicious recs collection from 2010 (I'd started in 2005). Sadly it doesn't include the tags (i.e. fandoms/pairings), but it's still kinda fun, so I posted it to my recs blog: recs.fandomish.net/bookmarks-l

People who don't put line breaks between their paragraphs on AO3. You think they know?

Do they paste it into the window and hit post without looking and never put eyes on it again? How do they look at their kudos? How do they avoid seeing it?

Or do they see that impenetrable wall of text with nary a space between and say to themselves, "This seems fine"?

The human mind is a mystery.
