Just an fyi that I also have a snouts.online account under the same username now:

So I'll be posting at snouts.online now as well as on my fandom.ink account.

I've started a new instance on snouts.online (same username):

police/violence, LA protests, COVID

LA has closed testing sites in retaliation to protests, they won’t be executing protestors this time around, they’ll let the virus run its course through the working class and especially the population of color - be safe and do what you can to minimize exposure while still working in solidarity with your comrades
i guarantee the pigs will be the first tested, if they haven’t already been

Just want to say that I support the black protestors in Minneapolis and elsewhere and anyone fully cooperating with them in solidarity. Whether they are employing peaceful or violent tactics in self defense, I just hope that they can stay safe.

Also, another thing I think everyone should keep in mind: preserving human life is always more important than keeping property undamaged.

Minnesota Freedom Fund does not have a Venmo. If you see anything about donating to MFF's Venmo, that's fake

MFF is recommending these other crowdfunds, as apparently they're overwhelmed by donations themselves

I finished watching all the available eps of Kingdom today. Here's my short 'initial impressions' review of it:

Sometimes I just wish there was a completely soundproof room I could go into and just have a good, long loud scream (I don't want to alarm the neighbors). Oh, well, guess I'll just have to settle for *extended internal screaming*.

One thing I wish is that it was easier to prevent accidental replies that aren't replies. In the previous case, there was nothing particularly sensitive being said by me, but that's certainly untrue for the general case. For some reason Mastodon seems like the interface it's easiest to accidentally do that in.

Ooops, this thread was supposed to be a reply to something. Oh, well, guess I'll just leave it as is but also...move the replies to the actual thread!

Also, I really like Coconut Bliss for ice cream, but my favorite non-dairy ice cream is probably Nada Moo for it's soft texture and excellent flavor choices.

Except for Annie's and Ben and Jerry's the entire brand for the brans I've listed is non-dairy.

I used the internet to jog my memory a bit. My favorite non-dairy yogurts for sweetened fruit flavor yogurts are So Delicious and Silk.

For ice cream, I enjoy So Delicious (all nondairy) and Ben and Jerry's non-dairy options.

For yogurt I usually buy the unsweetened plain of late but I know fruit flavored options exist, though I forget my favorite brands for that. For plain, some brands I like are Kite Hill and Forager.

Looks like taste and texture are tied among the sample size of 6 who took this poll!

What is your top reason for not liking certain foods? For example, my top reason is texture, but taste is also significant.

This study was so well done. Great controls, study size of *100,000*.

Any additional studies focusing on HCQ for covid19 should be stopped immediately for ethical reasons.

"The mortality in the control group was 9.3%. The mortality in the chloroquine group was 16.4%. The mortality in the chloroquine plus macrolide group was 22.2%. The mortality in the hydroxychloroquine group was 18%. And the mortality in the hydroxychloroquine plus macrolide group was 23.8%."

I hate both the taste and texture of bell peppers a lot (though the texture is still slightly worse than the taste to me). Other mild to medium peppers are fine for me (possibly also spicier ones, but I avoid those because I don't want to test how much spiciness my gut will tolerate and I don't want to cut them myself when I have a tendency to accidentally get the oil in uncomfortable places like my eyes, lol).
