If someone expresses excitement over something I'll probably favorite it, even if it isn't my thing personally, because I love that they're happy!

Edit: Unless they're actively looking for people who share their interests, in which case I'll just boost, because favoriting would be giving false hope I think. At least that's how I would feel.
