So, Twitter shat the bed, then Reddit, now it's Tumblr's turn. Did they all co-ordinate the timing of this, or are they reacting to something that I haven't cottoned onto yet?

This continues to be true https://fandom.ink/@enchantedsleeper/110650635475223943
@enchantedsleeper they fucked themselves when they banned NSFW and watched three quarters of their user base disappear and now they think they're gonna win everyone back?
@SqueezeBabe They've been getting a bit of an uptick in new users as Twitter and Reddit both faceplant hard enough to form a crater, but I'm not sure if this is because of that - I think it would be happening regardless. But I do think the goal is to give Tumblr ~mainstream appeal. They seem to think (or are pretending) that they can accomplish that while hanging onto what makes Tumblr distinctive and fun, and I assure you they cannot
@enchantedsleeper like, everyrhing in that mission statement is indicative that they don't actually understand their user base, or the base that actually got them started... tumblr is not going to succeed because they're still hung up on "female presenting nipples".
